GCI Outdoors are the makers of some of the most innovative products in the outdoor industry. With over 56 patents and a diverse offering of products, GCI has built an incredible business. But their brand didn’t match the products they’d built. For 20+ years, GCI had been a passive brand.

That’s all about to change! In collaboration with Creatively Partners, we built a new brand strategy and position for GCI Outdoors, refreshed their brand identity, and developed a brand campaign that brings the true value of this brand to life. All based on their incredible history of innovation and passion for creating incredible moments outside.

Historical Logo

The GCI Original Logo featured a sun icon and a lightning bolt to mimic the shape of the Everywhere Chair®, the product that launched the brand.

2008-2023 Logo

This logo reflect updates to showcase the brand beyond the art of sitting — adjusting the shape of the Everywhere Chair to a mountain representative of the outdoors.

2024 Logo

The latest logo retains the shape and elements of the previous two logos, evolved to express the brand pillars of gathering, comfort and innovation. The edges and typeface are rounded and the historic mountain range has been adjusted to encompass the product and distribution segments of camp, water, sport and festival
